Alexander County Recent Arrests is a private reference, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, arrange a visit, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the office responsible for the record or action.

Official Offices and Record Routes

Alexander County uses a contracted detention arrangement, so the right contact depends on the question. County government hours are 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Confirm office availability before traveling.

Choose the route that matches the record:

  • For a booking record or photograph, begin with the sheriff and Pulaski FOIA officer, asking which office is the custodian.
  • For current custody or a release alert, call Pulaski County Detention Center and use Illinois VINE where its participating feed supplies a record.
  • For an arrest report, warrant question, or supervision issue, contact the arresting agency, court, or supervising agency that owns that matter.
  • For a recently reported arrest, use Arrests Last 24 Hours to understand the local verification path.
  • For the outcome of a filed case, call the Alexander County Circuit Clerk.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Illinois Department of Corrections inmate search.
  • For federal prison or immigration custody, use the separate BOP or ICE locator.

A focused written request should give the person’s full name, approximate arrest or booking date, arresting agency, and a booking or case number if known. Ask for the booking or intake record and booking photograph, if one exists, subject to exemptions and redactions. Illinois FOIA generally requires a response within five business days, with a permitted extension in specified circumstances. That deadline is not a promise that every requested item will be released.
